Eugene has had a strong interest in design so when it came to choosing a course to study, he chose the Diploma in Sustainable Urban Design and Engineering. This course offered 2 paths, Architecture and Civil Engineering. Being interested in design, he wanted to pursue a career in Architecture in the future. Eugene's ability in designing and visualization can help him in architecture. Furthermore, as land in Singapore is increasingly finite, there is a growing need to balance good design and viability. Eugene sees the value in designing landscapes that are sustainable and functional, that can benefit not only the users, but the environment.
